During the floppy boot process, after completing config.sys and autoexec.bat, it says: I am, however, stuck on two problems, that I suppose may be one problem. I rem'd those out, which bypassed that problem. I finally noticed that the reading of commands could be put in step mode, and I found that it halted on any of the "device=aspi****.sys" commands, which were related to adaptec drives. I had the problem at first that it would not read my Windows set-up floppy, until I verified that it had to be mounted both in Virtualbox AND in Debian. Then I was surprised to see that Windows 98 was one of the choices. The installation occurred with no trouble at all. I was sure I was looking at a German company at first, and here I was seeing Sun. Wow! I am astonished at how far I got in the installation of Virtualbox! In the first place, the timing was almost as if a confluence of the forces of the universe occurred for my benefit! Well, I'd better back off of that ego trip, and just say I was sure taken aback when I discovered that I downloaded Virtualbox the day after the May 2 release of 1.6 after having been acquired by Sun Microsystems.
